One Escpaped!
I didn't have time to grab my camera because I was so shocked but one of the pups managed to climb out of the whelping box and was under the pool table this afternoon. He was not happy, puppy barking for mama to put him back. She was sleeping at the top of the stairs knowing she had just fed them and it wasn't time. She doesn't give in to their demands. I guess with nine puppies and only 8 "milk holes" (as Michael calls them) she has to be stern. lol
This is possibly the puppy that nurses while upside down. Literally, all the brothers and sisters are going at it on their tummies and here he is on his back, lying on top of the others just nursing away. Too funny.

Mourning
My cousin Pat passed away a week ago today. He was 49, so young. I still don't believe it. Here he is holding and playing around with Jenileigh when she was a babe. He really liked little kids and got a kick out of their antics. He had a good sense of humor and loved to make you laugh. He will be missed.
